NASHVILLE, TN – Multi-PLATINUM singer/songwriter Dierks Bentley was joined by family and friends yesterday to celebrate his 17th career No. One single “Women, Amen” off his ninth studio album THE MOUNTAIN. Teaming up with ASCAP and BMI at Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row Nashville, Bentley was celebrated alongside collaborators producer/co-writer Ross Copperman (BMI), co-writer Josh Kear (ASCAP) as well as producers Jon Randall Stewart and Arturo Buenahora. “Woman, Amen” serves as Copperman’s 17th and Kear’s 14th No. One career chart-topper.

Tonight, the “shimmering song of devotion” (Billboard) will be highlighted by Bentley’s performance during the fourth annual WE Day televised primetime special (8/17 at 7:00P CT on ABC) celebrating youth making a difference throughout the country. Next week at the 12th Annual ACM Honors, Bentley will be honored with the Merle Haggard Spirit AwardThis award is presented to a singer-songwriter who is continuing the legacy of country legend and 20-time ACM Award Winner Merle Haggard by following his/her own path, crafting great songs and epitomizing Merle’s spirit through genuine performances and great storytelling.
