Los Angeles, CA – Dee Jay Silver has officially released his latest single “Safe Zone” featuring vocals from Nashville-based singer/songwriter Cort Carpenter. The slow-grooving R&B-tinged jam was written by Silver and Carpenter along with Jared Sciullo and Ryan Sorestad and is available now across all digital music platforms; PRESS HERE to listen to “Safe Zone” on Spotify (all links below).

My main goal when it comes to making new music is for every song to sound different,” shares the groundbreaking DJ/remixer/producer. “I want to make music for the clubs like ‘Made To Do,’ sing-along anthems like ‘Just Got Paid,’ and songs like ‘Safe Zone’ if you want to get grown and sexy! We slowed it way down on this one…added some Spanish guitar, sexy vocals, and a great groove! Hope you guys enjoy!”

Listen to “Safe Zone” on the following platforms:
iTunes // Amazon // Apple Music // Spotify

The open-format performer, known for his unique ability to blend all types of music from hip-hop and rock to house and country, has an eclectic style that shines through in both his live shows and original music. As Silver explained to Forbes.com earlier this summer, “Nothing makes things worse than being pigeonholed into a genre. And I just don’t believe in that anymore…I want music I can play [for all settings I perform at]. I want it to have a part of the night where, whatever I put in, I made that, and put my heart and soul into it, and see a crowd react to it no matter what setting we’re in.” Dee Jay Silver’s previous original songs, the electronic music single Made To Do (2017) and country hit Just Got Paid (2016), have been streamed over 1 million times collectively on Spotify.

On a short break from his in-progress tour dates with Chris Young, Dan + Shay and Morgan Evans, the Nashville-based artist had a busy week at home. On Sunday (Nov. 11), Dee Jay Silver appeared at the Budweiser Country Club, their official CMA Showcase, at Exit/In alongside Lindsay Ell, Clare Dunn, Kassi Ashton and The Sisterhood Band and on Wednesday (Nov. 14), he hosted a CMA Awards After Party at Jason Aldean’s Kitchen + Rooftop Bar, where he’s hosted a residency since the Lower Broadway hotspot opened this summer. Catch Dee Jay Silver at Jason Aldean’s spot this Sunday, November 18 and again on Sunday, December 2. After that, he heads back to his adopted hometown of Las Vegas for his 7th annual appearance at the Gold Buckle Zone at MGM Grand for the National Finals Rodeo 2018 performing on the Roper Main Stage December 6, 7 and 9-15. And on Saturday, December 8, he’ll make his debut at Hakkasan Nightclub at MGM Grand alongside DJ Fergie.

Dee Jay Silver has spent 2018 on the road supporting Chris Young (on select dates in the spring and fall) and Jason Aldean (on this year’s entire cross-country “High Noon Neon Tour,” his 9th tour as the country superstar’s resident DJ), performing at various country music festivals, hosting multiple residencies in Las Vegas and Nashville, and continuing to host his own weekly radio show “The Country Club with Dee Jay Silver,” syndicated nationally via Compass Media Networks every Friday and Saturday nights (since 2014), while working on new original music. Look for more to come soon!

In other news, Dee Jay Silver and his wife Jenna have created a program called “Wake’s Friends.” Named for their two-year-old son, Wake Silver Perdue, they’re collecting new toys and pajamas (sizes newborn to 18 years old) throughout the holiday season to donate to the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt in Nashville. 100% of the donations will be given to the hospital. To contribute, mail to: Wake’s Friends, P.O. Box 682068, Franklin, TN 37068.
