NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Dallas Remington (RoadWarrior Records)has announced her plans to release her sophomore single, titled Never Turned Around,  to country radio on April 16, 2018.  Co-written alongside Regan Stewart, with production contributions by Kirk Willie and Kimo Forrest (Ohana Music), Dave Albro (Capricorn SoundWorks) and Kim Franca (Kim Franca Vocals), the track offers a sneak-peek to Remington’s new EP (FREEDOM) anticipated in late spring/early summer.

Poised to become the 2018 “Song Of The Summer,” the “Never Turned Around”storyline revives a sentiment and evokes an emotion (both thrilling and melancholy) similar to the “summer love” hits “Strawberry Wine” (Deana Carter), “Maybe It Was Memphis” (Pam Tillis) and Remington’s biggest influence, Garth Brooks’ “What She’s Doing Now.”

Remington’s honest portrayal of young love and loss, and hope for the futurcompletes the modern-day serenadeHer sultry alto voice captivates from beginning to end. The lead guitar ignites the electricity of the songstress’ pleading vocals and modern groove while a purposeful mandolin twinkles in the background like a fine-tuned and perfectly placed timepiece.

I WAS HOLDING YOU BACK FROM YOUR DREAMS
AND THE THINGS YOU WANTED
BY BEGGING YOU TO STAY
YOU HAD MY HEART
AND THE LETTER I WROTE YOU
HOPING IT WOULD CHANGE YOUR MIND
AND SLOW YOU DOWN
BUT YOU NEVER TURNED AROUND

“When I came into the writing session with Regan, we wanted to write a fiery, ‘you can’t break me’ tune,” Dallas introduced. “The writing session and the idea took an entirely different turn; ‘Never Turned Around’ is about a summer love, first love, the hope for a forever love and the love that drove away.”

Jennifer Blair, Jennifer Blair Promotions, will spearhead the radio promotion campaign. The track will be available via all major digital retail and streaming outlets (iTunes/Spotify/Amazon/Pandora/Rhapsody) on Friday, May 4, 2018 (presale promotion begins Friday, April 13, 2018 @ .69¢ per download).  Ed Gertler (Digital Delivery Services) will spearhead the digital retail initiative.
