Houston, TX. – Country music artist and Houston native Curtis Braly gave back in a big way this holiday season with the launch of Santa’s Surprise Squad, a kindness initiative in which he raised money for a family in need in his home state of Texas to help eliminate some financial stress. The Nashville artist, Braly, began accepting family nominations on November 9 and picked the lucky family on December 3.
On Friday, December 21, Braly showed up at the door step of a deserving family near Angleton, TX and surprised them with a shopping spree as well as paid their rent and bought them weeks worth of groceries. The family was whisked away in a limousine and then spent the next several hours getting gifts for their family that they never thought would be possible.
“This year has been filled with so many blessings, and I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to give back this season,” Braly said. “I’m pretty certain we overwhelmed Ana & her children with joy this Christmas and that’s what it’s all about!”
