NASHVILLE, TENN. – Tourism boards across the country have declared one of the top places to view the solar eclipse on Monday, August 21, 2017 is just north of Music City in Gallatin, Tennessee. Not only will Gallatin’s “Eclipse Encounter” be the best spot for the viewing, it will also be the best spot for music! Immediately following the once in a lifetime event, Curb Records’ newest signing, Little Feather, will take the stage to give the thousands of visiting tourists even more to talk about on this historical day!
Fun-loving, organically-acoustic driven band LITTLE FEATHER is rich in heritage, connecting young Pikeville, Kentucky lead songstress, Liz Sharpe, to award-winning traditionalist Patty Loveless and to the Queen of Country herself, Loretta Lynn. The remaining members of this stellar ensemble also happens to include Shannon Campbell (guitar, mandolin, banjo and harmony) who is the son of musical icon, Glen Campbell.

The last total eclipse to pass through Sumner County was in 1478. After 2017, the next will occur in about 550 years. That makes this total eclipse, which will be visible throughout Sumner County, definitely a once-in-a-lifetime event. The center line tracks directly through Triple Creek Park in Gallatin. From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Aug. 21 in Triple Creek Park, the Gallatin TN Eclipse Encounter will offer a giant yoga class, live music with Little Feather, vendors and food. Little Feather will perform songs from their self-titled debut album out September 29, including “Get Out of My Sunshine” and “Love Travels,” just to name a few, that are “totally” befitting the event.
