All-Star Brackets of Artists and Radio Execs Vie for
Bragging Rights, Opulent, Garish Championship Belt

Nashville, Tenn. – Country Radio Seminar announces the return of the 16-player Ping Pong Tournament, “Paddle Royale,” to its after-hours schedule on Thursday, February 24 – immediately following “Bob Kingsley’s Acoustic Alley.” Sponsored by PickleJar, the tournament will take place in Omni Nashville Hotel’s Legends A-C on Level 2, topping off CRS 2022’s second day with a fun twist. Doors open at 9:30 p.m., with tournament play starting at 10:00 p.m.

Players confirmed at press time include Ingrid Andress, Kid Rock, Jon Pardi, Morgan Evans, Lady A, Gator Harrison, Clay Hunnicutt, Mitchell Tenpenny, Clay Walker, Royce Risser, Tim Roberts, and defending champion Scotty McCreery, with more to be added.

This one-of-a-kind event will feature top Country artists and most prominent names in music programming competing for bragging rights and an opulent, borderline obnoxious championship trophy. Losers will also be able to remember the evening with a pristine participation trophy.

This year’s tournament play-by-play will be led by 26-year Tennessee Titans sportscaster and “Voice of the Titans,” Mike Keith. The event is co-created and organized by George Couri and Tim Roberts. Couri remarks, “There will be no showcase, nor performance, nor panel session.  There will, however, be trash talking, high drama, and some free drinks. This will be a large cross-section of our business coming together to cheer, boo, laugh, and enjoy one another.”

The official mobile app for Country Radio Seminar 2022 is now available for registered attendees to download on iPhone and Android devices. Access to the app is available through mobile app stores.
