Country Roots Run Deep for The Runaway Hamsters As They Deliver Their Newest Radio Release, “A Little Country”

Official Music Video Premiered Thursday, October 6

Young energetic country/pop sibling group, The Runaway Hamsters, announcd the premiere of their official music video to their radio release, A Little Country. The video made its debut on the Country Rebel Facebook page Thursday, October 6, 2016 at 11:30AM CST.

Twelve-year-old Isabella and her triplet ten-year-old siblings — Abby, Gabby and brother Riley combines touching lyrics with a dose of honesty and humor, connecting both new and classic country listeners to their sound. A Little Country is the title song off their second EP.

This video is directed by three time Emmy award-winner Roman White (2009 MTV Music Video Award for Taylor Swift’s You Belong With Me and 2007 and 2008 Director of the Year) and was filmed in Nashville, Tennessee. “They are incredibly talented and insanely cute (other than Riley… he’s a dude and dudes aren’t cute, but he rocks hard!!),” says White. “I didn’t get to create one music video with them, but two, and couldn’t have had more fun. They aren’t only talented but crazy professional and seriously bring it when it counts. I can’t wait to see what happens to these kids as they get older, wiser and even cooler than they already are!”

A Little Country was co-written with their producer and Grammy-nominated songwriter Kent Wells. “Working with them has been one of the brightest spots in my music career,” says Wells. “They bring such a tremendous, positive energy to work and are total pros to work with in every sense! And they are just the sweetest and coolest kids I know!!!”

Best known for their musical youth and huge hearts, The Runaway Hamsters create music that is original, engaging and heartfelt. This started as simply forming a band, writing and recording a song for their good friend, a second grader, who had been diagnosed with brain cancer. “We made CDs which we sold to raise money that was donated to the hospital caring for our friend,” says the kids. “We raised over $1,200 and our story got picked up nationally and we began to get phone calls.”

Since then, they have performed from Nashville to LA, opened for Andy Grammer and even played the famous Bluebird Café. They recently wrapped up a performance at the Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles where they donated instruments and funds to the children at the hospital and became official Jr. Ambassadors. From Boise, Idaho, these kids have been featured on radio stations and in media outlets from coast to coast. For more information, visit The Runaway Hamsters at the following:
