Nashville, TN –– Country Artist/Songwriter Matt Jordan releases his new single “Boulder,” available now on all streaming platforms. Jordan co-wrote the single with Jarret Hartness and Dustin Herring. In the story behind the song, Jordan explains the songwriters were inspired by various instances in their lives where they encountered criticism and that sparked the fire to make them work even harder.
“This song is an anthem for anyone who feels like they have something to prove,” says Matt Jordan. “At some point, I think we all come across doubters and I decided long ago to use it as fuel for the fire. This song’s about going against the grain and doing things your own way, no matter what others might think. You don’t just have a chip on your shoulder, it’s a boulder.”
This is Jordan’s follow up to his popular singles “The Good Fight” and “Heart of the Heartland”, as well as his debut EP Middle of Everything (October 2021), all produced by Grammy-Award, nominated producer, Sal Oliveri (P!nk, Chris Stapleton, Sheryl Crow). Matt Jordan is currently working on new music that will be released throughout 2022.
