Country music trio Sister C, who is being dubbed a group to watch in 2016 for their powerhouse vocal and songwriting chops, will release a new EP Demo Sessions, Vol. 2 on August 19th. The six-song EP is the follow-up to their debut EP Demo Sessions, Vol. 1, that was released to critical praise in February. Both EPs are a result of the overwhelming positive response the trio continues to get for their “Blue Room Session” videos posted every other week on their socials. Sister C is poised to make their mark on the country music scene with their undeniable talent and traditional-meets-modern country sound and songwriting.

“We are so excited to be releasing Demo Sessions, Vol. 2! We have been writing like crazy and this EP is a combination of all of our favorites,” said Sister C. “Each of us has experienced love lost so of course we wrote about it and so much more. We hope that people can relate to our music the way that it touches us. We can’t wait to hear what people think!”

Cirby, Carli and Celbi, who make up Sister C, each had a hand in writing all of the songs on Demo Sessions, Vol. 2 with co-writes from some of the biggest and brightest songwriters in Nashville including Mark Bright (Kenny Chesney, Sara Evans, Martina McBride), Lizzy McAvoy (Jo Dee Messina, Thompson Square) and Tiffany Goss (Clay Walker). Demo Sessions, Vol. 2, produced by Simon Reid, includes demo versions of some of Sister C’s most popular acoustic “Blue Room Sessions.” Sister C is currently performing shows around Nashville and they have several more shows lined up around the rest of the country through the end of the year.

Sister C is winning over fans and media alike since the February release of their debut EP Demo Sessions, Vol. 1:
“Their five-song EP Demo Sessions Vol. 1 shows a keen sense of songwriting underneath their intuitively tight harmonies.” – Rolling Stone Country
“One of country music’s brightest new acts.” – Sounds Like Nashville
“Sister C has won critics over with flawless harmonies, honest lyrics, and a vibe of originality and authenticity that is hard to come by.” – NashvilleGab.com

Sister C, who was first discovered as finalists on the second season of X Factor working with coach Simon Cowell, are all seasoned songwriters, performers and musicians who have been creating music together since their early days in a small Texas town. Soon after the show they garnered the attention of SiriusXM The Highway and Dallas-Forth Worth Cumulus owned KSCS in their home state of Texas with their catchy song “Faint of Heart” that was produced by multi-Platinum selling country star Lee Brice and Nashville hit-maker Jon Stone. The single then lead the girls to taping their popular “Blue Room Sessions” and subsequently the release of their debut EP and follow-up.
