Nashville, TN – “Heartbreak hurts, no matter how strong you think you are,” Lonero explains of her latest single “Tears Dry Up,” a female anthem about heartbreak and putting yourself back together even when you still feel broken. “We all want to be independent women, and get back out there, but sometimes you just need a little more time. And that’s okay.”

With lyrics like “Kept it together when you said goodbye, I didn’t blink an eye, held onto my pride. So don’t be thinking I’ll be crawling back, miss what we never had, I’m stronger than that. Yeah, I may be crying now, but you can’t put this wildfire out,” Lonero paints a perfect picture of the strength it takes to love yourself in a situation where that love is unrequited and although tears may fall temporarily, that inner strength propels you to regain that independence once you are ready. “When these tears dry up, I’m gonna pull myself off this rug, gonna go all the places you never take me, tough luck baby, put on some high heel shoes, red dress dancing away my blues, gonna kick this sadness, bat my lashes, strut my stuff when these tears dry up.”

The single has already gained early praise from social media and Lonero’s existing fans, as well as new listeners both for it’s sound and cover artwork. “My vision for the cover art was what always makes me feel better, getting dressed up to go out somewhere. I am a sucker for a new dress, or shoes. It kinda represents the first attempt to get back out there, but all the fancy clothes in the world can’t fix a broken heart,” Lonero explains. With bold colors, and perfectly styled hair and makeup, Lonero is featured in a red dress, clutching a kleenex as a solitary tear runs down her cheek. “The cover art just depicted the lyrics so perfectly,” she said, “I talked to so many other girls who have experienced the same thing. When you have gotten ready to go out thinking it will make you feel better, but the emotions are too overwhelming and you need a moment to pull it together. It doesn’t mean I’ll stop trying!”

“Tears Dry Up” was recorded in Nashville with award-winning producer Bill McDermott (George Strait, Tim McGraw, Vince Gill, Billy Currington, etc) and written by Lonero, Kim Penz (Lady Luck Publishing) and Hailey Steele (Kalie Shorr, Raelynn) Notable musicians played on the track, including legendary Rascal Flatts member and producer, Jay Demarcus.
