Country Music Hall of Famer Randy Travis and Chris Young Surprise Restless Road at the Ryman Auditorium

Nashville, Tenn. – Country Music Hall of Famer Randy Travis and his longtime friend and fellow Opry member Chris Young recently surprised country trio Restless Road at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. Made up of Zach Beeken, Garrett Nichols and Colton Pack, the band got the surprise of a lifetime on set at the famed venue, where during a cover performance of “Forever and Ever, Amen,” Young and Travis were waiting in the wings to walk out and surprise them mid-chorus.

With all of the artists’ recent viral successes on TikTok–where Travis is one of the highest followed country artists on the platform–and so many mutual connections between them, Travis wanted to surprise Restless Road and invited his longtime pal Chris Young to join him.

After taking the country landscape by storm with their fan-favorite musical mash ups and humor, Restless Road recently released their new single, “Bar Friends.”

Last week the band was surprised with an invitation to make their official Opry debut- a full circle moment for band member Colton who used to work shifts at the Opry’s Backstage Grill while pursuing his music career. In addition to their upcoming Opry debut on June 22nd, Restless Road will open for Kane Brown’s Blessed & Free Arena Tour later this year. The tour starts in Sacramento and will visit 35 markets across the country including New York City’s Madison Square Garden (1/15) and LA’s Staples Center (10/2).
