Country Artist Kendra Kay Signs Development Deal and Ramps up to Release Debut Album and New Single

Winnipeg, MB – Canadian country artist Kendra Kay is excited to announce her signing to Willing Records (UMC), and to kick off this next chapter of her career with the release of her single “Say It Again” on July 15.

Founded by CCMA Award winner Bobby Wills, known for his multiple Top 10 radio hits, high energy live shows and deep roots in country music, Wills says, Willing Records was created as a vehicle for developing artists to take the next steps and Kendra Kay is poised to do just that.  The authenticity of Kendra’s sound, her work ethic and resiliency are the hallmarks of long careers in music, and we are excited to be along for the ride!! We couldn’t be happier to welcome Kendra Kay and her team into the Willing Records/UMC family.

Along with this, Kay’s fans can expect her debut full-length record ‘Homegrown Heart’ to be released this Fall that includes her successful single Wild which garnered over a million streams on digital streaming platforms. This exciting and heartfelt album is packed with incredible female songwriters along with Kendra Kay such as Maren Morris, Carly Pearce, Madeline Merlo, Patricia Conroy, Meghan Patrick and many others. The 12-track album promises to deliver a modern twist on the traditional country sound, and is produced by some of today’s top names such as Karen Kosowski (Mickey Guyton, Brett Kissel) and CCMA Producer of the Year winner Murray Pulver.
