Congo Native Kären McCormick Releases Nostalgic New Single “Retro”

NASHVILLE, TN — Brazzaville, Congo native and emerging country-pop artist Kären McCormick recalls an old school era in new single “Retro.” The groovy, mid-tempo track was written by McCormick, Dana Marie Rogers and Taylor Hughes with production by Caleb Lovely. The release of “Retro” follows McCormick’s 2018 debut, “We Were on Fire,” which celebrated more than 50K streams on Spotify followed by her 2019 breakout single, “Dancing With Him Tonight,” which has racked up more than 90K Spotify streams and was premiered by elite country music site, Taste of Country. Most recently, McCormick dropped the empowering breakup song, “Heartbroken Girls,” which was premiered by Country Now and dubbed a “catchy tune that puts McCormick’s airy smooth vocals on display, as she channels the highly relatable theme of heartbreak.”
