NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Platinum-selling recording artist Cole Swindell is enjoying an unforgettable year as his current single “Middle Of A Memory” becomes his sixth consecutive No. 1 (breaking his own record) and ninth overall as a songwriter.

Additionally, the video for “Middle of a Memory,” directed by Michael Monaco, is No. 1 on CMT Hot 20 Countdown this week making this Swindell’s fifth No. 1 video.

“Thanks to my team at Warner for my SIXTH #1 in a row!” said Swindell. “Country Radio you have been so good to me and a huge part of why I get to hear fans singing songs like ‘Middle Of A Memory’ back to me every night! Let’s celebrate!”

Swindell was surprised with a special serenade
of the song earlier this year, which is averaging two million streams per week, by Angelica Hale at the Miss America pageant. The 9-year-old, who sang the National Anthem at the ceremony’s opening, is a member of the Children’s Miracle Network and met Swindell in a meeting arranged by the Miss America Organization. The video quickly racked up a million views and captured hearts of those who saw the performance.

“Middle of a Memory,” co-written by Swindell, Ashley Gorley and Zach Crowell, is the second single off Swindell’s latest album You Should Be Here. The no. 1 title track which racked up over 1 billion audience impressions and a Top 5 selling country song since the month it impacted radio in January, was also preceded by Swindell’s four No. 1 singles off his Gold-certified debut album, including the smash hits, gold-certified “Let Me See Ya Girl,” along with platinum-certified “Hope You Get Lonely Tonight,” “Ain’t Worth The Whiskey” and “Chillin’ It.”

This year, Swindell has partnered with CMT to headline his third annual Down Home Tour with the sold-out CMT ON TOUR Presents the COLE SWINDELL DOWN HOME TOUR. Following two previous sold-out tours, the third annual headlining tour kicked off earlier this month with fans packing a sold-out Cain’s Ballroom in Tulsa, OK and will wrap in December. The tour features openers and rising new artists Cole Taylor, Travis Denning and Jon Langston. Swindell looks forward to this time of the year when he releases new fan-favorite music, and in tandem returning to some of the clubs, venues and fans that gave him his start in touring.
