CMT To World Premiere “Leave Her Wild” From Sundance Head

Video Will Air On CMT Music, CMT’s 24/7 Music Channel and CMT.com

Nashville, TN — He swept Season 11 of “The Voice”  winning for Team Blake and now Sundance Head keeps hitting his stride.

Hot on the heels of the release of his newest single, “Leave Her Wild,” the Porter, Texas native will World Premiere the companion video on CMT, today, October 19 on CMT Music, CMT’s 24/7 music channel and CMT.com.  See the video HERE.

The upbeat, thumping groove is part love song and part anthem, empowering women and advising men to embrace them unconditionally. Head shows incredible restraint as he executes the chorus, but punches the verses with his signature combination that is part grit, part soul, and part Round Rock honey, then soars in the bridge and reprise.

Directed by Cole Claassen for Rambunctious Films, the video was shot in and around Nashville, TN. The playful clip showcases a woman’s spirit and empowers her to embrace her wild side.

Sundance, the son of singer Roy Head, who had a hit with “Treat Her Right” in the 1960s, was the fifth champion for Blake Shelton on the popular reality competition show, “The Voice.” During his tenure on the show, his performances ran the gamut of musical genres, showcasing his talent in country, pop, rock, and even the jazzy Etta James torch song, “At Last.”

Head’s successful run on “The Voice” was followed up with a chance meeting at the Houston Rodeo with the songwriting genius behind George Strait’s career—singer, songwriter and record producer Deal Dillon. Dillon, who was considering retiring, was rejuvenated by Head’s voice and signed him to his newly formed Dean Dillon’s Wildcatter Records.

“Leave Her Wild” is the first release from Sundance’s debut album for the label, STAINED GLASS AND NEON  due out in early 2019.
