CMT Digital Continues Rollout of New Original Series “CMT Campfire Sessions”

NASHVILLE — Today, CMT Digital premiered an all-new episode of its much-acclaimed original series, “CMT Campfire Sessions,” a collection of acoustic, feel-good performances from today’s top artists that reimagines a traditional campfire sing-along with songs and stories that give a nod to the nostalgia and intimacy of storytelling that is synonymous with country music. All episodes of the new original series premiere on CMT’s Facebook and YouTube channels.

In the newest installment, fan-favorite Cody Johnson appears for a stripped back fireside performance of his current single “Dear Rodeo,” plus “Monday Morning Merle,” “Understand Why,” “Cowboy Life” and a cover of Glen Campbell’s “Wichita Lineman,” all performed from his backyard in Huntsville, TX and backed by his bandmate Jody Bartula on fiddle. Next up,  Hailey Whitters will treat fans to her campfire performance on Tuesday, April 20, followed by  Lee Brice on May 4.
