Cracker Barrel Welcomed the 101st Airborne Division for Special National Anthem Performance in Celebration of Its 75th Anniversary

During the performances, Cracker Barrel powered a special surprise moment on stage to honor and celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) based at Fort Campbell. Country music darling and avid military supporter Kellie Pickler, who hosted the events on stage, welcomed the Commanding General of the 101st Airborne Division and Fort Campbell, Major General Andrew Poppas, who gave remarks on the storied division’s “Legacy of Heroism” dating back 75 years. While the 101st Honor Guard presented the colors and the band performed the National Anthem, a formation of Screaming Eagles from the 101st were recognized on stage by Kellie and the Nashville crowd.

Cracker Barrel also continued Rock-A-Thon, the three-day event that features 644 Cracker Barrel rocking chairs, highlighting their nationwide store count, placed throughout downtown for fans to rock for a good cause. Artists Scotty McCreery, Kip Moore, and Danielle Bradbery stopped by to show their support and rock. Rock-A-Thon will run until this evening and if festival goers collectively rock 150,000 times, Cracker Barrel will donate $15,000 to the CMA Foundation.

As part of Cracker Barrel’s partnership with Lyft during CMA Music Fest, country music duo Dan + Shay surprised lucky fans in their Lyft ride on the way to a local Cracker Barrel. The band played games in the car on the way and also spent time inside Cracker Barrel with the lucky riders.
