Chris Young Proves You Don’t Need Electricity to Have an Amazing Time at One of his Shows

Electricity, who needs it? Well, everyone. But RCA recording artist Chris Young proved that you can still have an amazing time without it.

During his show at Cowboys Dancehall in San Antonio show on Saturday, Young was nearing completion of his third number one single “Voices” when all but the emergency lights cut out – instantly there were no instruments, no sound, no backdrops, no air conditioning, nothing but the audience. And they continued, a congregation of ecstatic Texans singing at the top of their lungs to finish out the song.

While band members took a bewildering break, Young did something genuinely humble – he turned the delay in the show into a time to get close with the fans. Taking a drink and handing his guitar off to a stagehand, Young proceeded to the edge of the stage, signing autographs and posing for photos.

Power was quickly restored and the show commenced, leaving this a night fans (and Young himself) will surely not soon forget.
