Nashville, Tenn. – Following the chart-topping success of debut single “Fix,” Big Loud Records genre-defying artist Chris Lane released his next single “For Her” to country radio this week. The romantic, mid-tempo swooner gives fans another taste of Lane’s outstanding falsetto, and showcases the diversity of sound on his debut album, GIRL PROBLEMS, which landed in the Top 10 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart upon its Aug. 5 release.

“While Girl Problems is far from a traditional country album as it blends country with pop and R&B,” said SOUNDS LIKE NASHVILLE in their glowing review, “Lane manages to offer a fresh perspective on today’s country music. Influences including everyone from Florida Georgia Line to the Backstreet Boys are apparent but Lane never phones it in or is predictable. Whether it’s his sultry falsetto or R&B rhythms, he makes each song unabashedly his and it is this originality that can only further his success within the ever-changing genre.”

Radio programmers are already throwing their support behind “For Her,” which is the 3rd most-added song this week behind Eric Church and Keith Urban – impressive numbers for a new artist. Already 33 stations are on board, including heavy hitters like KMPS/Seattle, WEBG/Chicago, KEEY/Minneapolis, KMNB/Minneapolis, WQYK/Tampa, WSOC/Charlotte, WKIS/Miami, WDSY/ Pittsburgh, and WPGB/Pittsburgh. “This is the one,” exclaims Tom Hanrhan of WDXB/Birmingham. “Loved ‘Fix,’ but this song grabbed me the first time I heard it. It shows Chris’ incredible range.”

“Fix” marked Lane’s first #1 at country radio, surpassing an impressive 24 million streams on Spotify and 5.5 million views on Vevo, and giving Big Loud Records its first-ever #1 with its first single – an unheard-of start for a new label. GIRL PROBLEMS – produced by superstar studio ace Joey Moi (Florida Georgia Line, Jake Owen) – has won praises from media, who are applauding Lane’s bold, fresh sound and standout falsetto; with early raves including ROLLING STONE’s  “10 New Country Artists You Need To Know,” YOUNG HOLLYWOOD’s  “Artist To Watch” list, HELLO! Magazine’s “People You Will Be Talking About” and GLAMOUR’s “Music We Love.” Lane has won shout-outs from massive industry names like Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad), Selena Gomez, Florida Georgia Line, Lucy Hale, Daughtry, and more after starting his career selling out club shows in his hometown of Kernersville, NC, before going on to open for Dustin Lynch’s sold-out HELL OF A NIGHT Tour and spending his summer on the RHYTHM & ROOTS Tour, opening for Rascal Flatts and Kelsea Ballerini.
