NASHVILLE, TN – Since the age of five, CARLY PEARCE has envisioned one path for her life: singing Country music. Today after years of hard – and anything but glamourous work – she has been named a New Female Vocalist of the Year nominee at the upcoming Academy Of Country Music Awards™. Watch the breakthrough singer/songwriter react to her first nomination: https://www.facebook.com/CarlyPearceMusic/videos/10156438027454255/.

“I have dreamt of being nominated for an ACM Award my entire life,” shared Carly. “All the years I watched the show from my couch, wondering if I’d ever make it to the awards as a nominee are now coming true. I LOVE YOU COUNTRY MUSIC!!”

The 53rd ACM Awards® will broadcast from MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Sunday, April 15(8:00-11:00P, live ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Over the last year, Carly has defied odds with her No. 1 debut “Every Little Thing,” scored a chart-topping trifecta on SiriusXM’s the Highway with subsequent hits “If My Name Was Whiskey” and current Country radio single “Hide The Wine.” Superstars Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan, Rascal Flatts and Thomas Rhett have invited her on their tours this year, and as the anomaly in the male-dominated lineups, she knows the importance of holding “the torch for women in Country music.”

With the GOLD-certified title track from her debut album EVERY LITTLE THING (Big Machine Records), Carly became the highest charting solo female debut since July 2015 and one of only three to accomplish the feat in twelve years. Among the many supporters, SiriusXM’s The Highway chose her for their all-genre “Class of 2017,” CMT rallied behind her as a Next Women of Country alum, Pandora featured her as a 2018 Artist to Watch, programmers nationwide voted her into the CRS New Faces Class of 2018 andPeople deemed her “the new voice of Country” while praise has poured over from media and industry to fans alike.

Yet, the moments are still surreal, even for the Kentucky girl who convinced her parents to leave high school at just 16 to perform at Dollywood because she knew her destiny depended on it. For nine years that followed, Carly spent her days in Nashville cleaning AirBnBs and nannying to make ends meet when she lost her first record deal. She kept her dream in sight at every songwriters’ round and backup gig for Lucy Hale, praying the center stage mic would again be solely hers one day.

And that day is now.
