Brandy Clark visits “Larry King Now” – Tune in on ORA.TV

Clark talks about her dream musical collaboration and recent GRAMMY nominations with iconic host Larry King

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Amid GRAMMY festivities last month, six-time career nominee and CMA Award winning Brandy Clark stopped by Larry King Now to chat about awards show buzz, the art of songwriting, and her mounting recognition as an esteemed country recording artist. The intimate interview offers a glimpse into Clark’s own personal story and analyzes the niche in music she has found for herself in “real storytelling.” Catch the full episode here.

“I try to write songs for people who maybe don’t have a voice,” Clark shares with King when prodded to describe her process that has garnered her such critical success and labeled her “the best songwriter in Nashville” (Garden & Gun). She details the relationship she developed with her local bank teller that inspired her to write songs for people “who are in the middle of life,” shares Clark, “in the middle of marriages and divorces or fighting through the death of family member…things started to be less clever and less hook-y, and more real.”

Clark recently announced a special tour with Warner Bros. Records’ labelmate Charlie Worsham – the revered pair will hit the road together beginning on April 6 at The Southern in Charlottesville, Va. with stops in Washington, D.C., Austin, Texas, Nashville, Tenn. and more. Tickets are on sale now at www.ticketmaster.com and www.ticketfly.com.
