As part of the announcement, Beats 1, the flagship global radio station from Apple was renamed Apple Music 1 and two additional stations were launched – Apple Music Hits celebrating everyone’s favorite songs from the ’80s, ‘90s, and 2000s, and Apple Music Country, spotlighting country music.
