The Raging Idiots To Release AWARD WINNING EP On May 14

Nashville, TN – Radio and TV personality Bobby Bones’ musical comedy band Bobby Bones & The Raging Idiots announced plans for their inaugural BOBBYFEST – an all day, family-friendly music festival hitting two cities over two days — New Braunfels, TX on September 4 and Wichita, KS on September 5. Known for their “hot ticket” (Fresno Bee) live show with nonstop “music and laughter flowing” (Sounds Like Nashville), The Raging Idiots will headline both evenings and have tapped special guests Russell Dickerson and Maddie & Tae as part of the musical lineup, with more event details to be revealed over the coming weeks. Tickets for both dates are on-sale now at Ticketmaster.com.

Amping up anticipation for BOBBYFEST, the band shared their new project AWARD WINNING EP will be available on May 14. Serving as an introduction to the new music, new track “Can’t Say That (In A Country Song)” featuring Jon Pardi is available to listen here.  The upcoming EP follows the success of fan-favorite hits like “The Target Song,” “Hobby Lobby Bobby” and “The Emoji Love Song” and features three fresh new tracks anchored by “comedic deliveries that blend, but don’t overshadow their actual, legitimate musical talent” (American Songwriter).

Later this month, Bones’ highly-anticipated travel TV series Breaking Bobby Bones, which he hosts and executive produces, is slated to debut with two back-to-back episodes on May 31 on National Geographic. He is the official in-house mentor on ABC’s American Idol, currently mentoring the Top 12 contestants with new episodes airing Sunday’s and Monday’s 8:00p.m. EST.
