Bobby Bones Launches Nationwide Funny & Alone Stand up Comedy Tour Slated For 2017

With Walker Hayes Tapped As Direct Opener, Tour Will Also Feature Nikita Karmen

Tickets Go On Sale Friday, Dec 2nd At 10am Local Time

Nashville, TN – Bobby Bones, host of iHeartMedia’s The Bobby Bones Show, announced on Monday (11/28) that he will take his FUNNY & ALONE STAND UP COMEDY TOUR nationwide in 2017, revealing a schedule of dates kicking off in Virginia Beach, VA on 1/13.  Heralded by Rolling Stone as “if not a king of all media, then at least a prince,” Bones piloted his quick-witted, pop-culture stacked brand of comedy on a handful of dates earlier this year as a passion project, and his tales have proved to be an instant hit amongst audiences, with some venues selling out in just minutes. Tickets will go on sale on Friday (12/2) at 10am local time, for more information visit: www.BobbyBonesComedy.com.

Bobby Bones Bones will take his captivating yet hilarious story out on the road with his one-man stand-up show, combining his love for country music and comedy in his distinct humorous patter, while regaling stories from growing up in rural Arkansas, to hosting the most popular radio show in the format. With an innate ability for being at the forefront of breaking new artists, and recently honored by ASCAP with the “Partners In Music” Award, Bones is taking special guest Walker Hayes and newcomer Nikita Karmen out on the dates.

“I’ve been doing stand up comedy since I was 19 years old, and I’m really excited to be able to do it for more people next year,” said Bones.  “My favorite thing to do is be on the radio, but it’s followed very close by my love for comedy and the stage.  I wanted to put together a show that lovers of comedy and music would enjoy.  It’ll be fun to bring out Walker Hayes, who is one of my current favorite artists.  And I’m also excited for the rest of the country to see Nikita Karmen, but mostly I’m just pumped to make people laugh.”

Dubbed by New York Times as “the biggest thing in country radio,” reaching millions of listeners on nearly 100 stations as the host of iHeartMedia’s The Bobby Bones Show, Bones has proven to be one of the genre’s most influential tastemakers, breaking some of country music’s freshest talent.  Known for pushing boundaries, earlier this year Bobby Bones’ BARES BONES: I’M NOT LONELY IF YOU’RE READING THIS BOOK (Dey Street Books) spent four weeks on New York Times Bestsellers List following a staggering debut that saw the fearless memoir claim the No. One spot on multiple lists including USA Today and Wall Street Journal. As one half of the comedy group, Bobby Bones And The Raging Idiots, and with an affinity for wanting to help others, last month saw the release of THE RAGING KIDIOTS: KIDDY UP! on Black River Entertainment, debut as the top downloaded children’s album. The success of the release came hot on the heels of the group’s No. One debut EP THE RAGING IDIOTS PRESENTS – THE RAGING KIDIOTS, as well as their No. One comedy album THE CRITICS GIVE IT 5 STARS.
