If you happened to hear a loud cracking sound on August 12, that was the sound of millions of hearts breaking as Dan and Shay‘s Shay Mooney posted on Instagram that he proposed to his girlfriend of a year and a half, Hannah Billingsley.
Billingsley, a former Miss Arkansas, posted the same photo to her Instagram adding – “Words aren’t enough. Truly the happiest day of my life. 8/9/16 I love you so much @shaymooney“
She also shared a photo of the church in Arkansas where Mooney popped the question:

The couple, who were introduced to each other via mutual friends, have been together since 2014.
