Andrew Jannakos Debuts “Gone Too Soon” Music Video

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – RCA Nashville singer-songwriter Andrew Jannakos premiered the official music video for “Gone Too Soon” today following a live Q&A with fans. Directed by Justin Key and produced by Matt Houser, the video was filmed at a historic house in downtown Nashville and features real life couples. Watch here.

“It’s crazy to see ‘Gone Too Soon’ come to life,” said Jannakos. “We wanted the video to connect with many people because we all express love in our own way. The couples in the video are real and you can feel that emotion. Justin did an amazing job with bringing the vision to life.”

Gone Too Soon” was commercially released in September, and earned Jannakos a #1 debut on Billboard’s Emerging Artist Chart, while the track landed at #12 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart and within the Hot 100. The song was originally teased in July 2020 on Jannakos’ TikTok, when his girlfriend (now wife) posted a clip of him singing along to the track while cooking dinner (view here ). By the next morning, the post racked up 250k likes. To date, Jannakos has accumulated nearly 25 million total on-demand streams.

The Flowery Branch, Georgia native grew up in a small-town neighborhood where barbecue parties and backyard soccer games were everyday events. Today, that sense of community translates to his nearly one million followers across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, and continues to grow stronger with every viral post. In less than four months, Jannakos’ TikTok page amassed over 38.4 million video views, 3.8 million likes and 380k followers. Today, his numbers have greatly surpassed these and his follower count has doubled.

Jannakos recently released his take on the holiday favorite, “White Christmas” along with a music video starring him and his son (watch here). Named a “New Country Artist to Watch in 2021” by Sounds Like Nashville, the powerhouse vocalist was also recently crowned the Overall Grand Prize Winner of the 25th USA Songwriting Competition for his song “Southern Skies,” which was independently released early this year.
