Syracuse, New York – The SAMMYS asked the people and the people let us know that they want to hear more from 19 year old New York native, power house vocalist and incredibly talented songwriter, Savannah Harmon. #TeamHarmon (Savannah Harmon fans and supporters), recently submitted Harmon’s music to the SAMMYS for consideration at the 2018 Syracuse Area Music Awards to be held on March 1-2, 2018. The SAMMYS happily added Savannah Harmon to the roster then left it up to the fans. The people spoke up and voted to move Harmon through to round 2. Round 2 People’s Choice voting ends on January 21, 2018, and Savannah Harmon fans from all over are confident they are going see Harmon make it to the 2018 Syracuse Area Music Awards March 1-2, 2018.

2018 SAMMY Press Conference is scheduled for Tuesday at 10:00 am February 6, 2018, at the Palace Theater in Syracuse. At that time, the nominees from 2017 recorded music submissions will be announced in their category, in addition to the 2018 Hall of Fame inductees.
The 2018 People’s Choice online voting phase began on January 9, 2018. The public is encouraged to vote for their favorite venue to see live music, their favorite local artist, and their favorite music series or festival. A new round of finalists will be announced each week, leading up to the 2018 SAMMY Awards Show, Friday, March 2, 2018 at the Palace Theatre in Syracuse.
