Whistle 100’s Pickin’ in the Park happens every summer at the beautiful Barnet Park in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Family-friendly and free for everyone, Whistle 100 brings country music’s top acts together for a once-in-a-lifetime acoustic performance! This year’s event, held on July 17, saw Jon Pardi, Scotty McCreery, Danielle Bradbery and Rodney Atkins take the stage.

The park was filled with over 5,000 listeners who either won tickets on-air or online or visited sponsors to be one of the first 100 people to get a pair of tickets for free. Fans got to get a little “Dirt on my Boots” with Pardi, and “Five More Minutes” with McCreery while “Watching You” with Atkins and it was totally “Worth It” with Bradbery. Plus so many more great songs to tap along and dance to.

Whistle 100 is one of over 300 radio stations across the country who have helped raise over $600 million for the lifesaving work of St. Jude, to support St. Jude’s mission of finding cures and saving children. St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital has been actively involved in radio event fundraising for 25 years

Money raised from the autographed merchandise, including some beautiful acoustic guitars, and all donations went to St. Jude for their research hospital. These donations help ensure that no parent gets a bill for their child’s treatment from St. Jude.

Thanks to Jon Pardi, Danielle Bradbery, Scotty McCreery and Rodney Atkins for donating their time, and for all those country music listeners and radio stations for finding such an amazing and fun way to support St. Jude.
