Stagecoach: A Weekend of Country Music, BBQ and Record-Breaking Shows

Check out our interviews with Adam Doleac, Walker Hayes and Granger Smith

Last weekend in Indio, CA country music fans from all over the country gathered for Stagecoach and it proved again to be another weekend of fun, sun, food & drink, memories, and music! This year’s headliners were Florida Georgia Line, Keith Urban, and Garth Brooks.

Something new this year was the SIRIUS XM Spotlight Stage. Located just in front of the general admission pit area, this stage had acts playing from 12pm-4pm each day. SIRIUS highlighted up and coming artists such as Jordan Davis, Morgan Wallen, Carly Pierce, Adam Doleac, Morgan Evans, Runaway June and Ashley McBryde to name a few! Each set was broadcasted on SIRIUS XM The Highway, so even fans who couldn’t attend didn’t miss out.

Also new this year was Guy Fieri’s Stagecoach Smokehouse, featuring mouthwatering BBQ from all over the US. It was all located under one huge tent that allowed festival goers to not only get some good food, but sit in the shade and relax. Lines were always long and if you were lucky you caught Guy making an appearance!

All weekend long The Mane Stage did not disappoint! Friday’s headliner was Florida Georgia Line and they brought their enthusiasm with them, playing hit after hit and getting the crowd energized for the night! Towards the end of their set they brought out Mason Ramsey who yodeled and sang his new single “Famous” for Stagecoach fans. FGL also brought out Jake Owen and Chris Lane for “Sun Daze”.  The surprises didn’t end there! Jason Derulo even got on stage and sang a couple of songs at the end of the night.

Saturday night was closed out by the incredible and talented Keith Urban. Urban played the day after his new album Graffiti U dropped and he treated Stagecoach fans to some of his new songs. In typical Keith Urban fashion, about half way through his set he hopped into the crowed and made his way back to the SIRIUS XM stage to perform a couple of songs. In an unforgettable moment, Urban had Brothers Osborne and Dwight Yoakam come out to sing “Fast as You”!

On Sunday night, the Stagecoach attendance record was broken by the one and only Garth Brooks with a record of 75,000 fans in attendance. The night felt like one big “sing along with Garth Brooks” as Stagecoach fans were loud and showed so much love for Garth and Trisha Yearwood. He then pulled Lee Brice, who happened to be enjoying the show, on stage to sing “More Than a Memory” with him. Brooks made his Stagecoach debut priceless for fans that night!

It was another extraordinary Stagecoach weekend for country music fans who are probably still trying to recover this weekend. Now the countdown is on until the fall when the lineup for 2019 Stagecoach will hopefully be announced!
