Brothers Osborne strolled into Indianapolis to perform for their fans in what turned out to be a spectacular Valentines Day evening.

They brought with them to the Egyptian Room at Old National Centre country group The Wild Feathers, one of three openers featured during their world wide tour. The Nashville-based 4-man American country rock band has been together since 2010 and are largely known for a classic rock country sound. With three albums under their belt and a slew of opening gigs for Kip Moore, Billy Currington, and currently Brothers Osborne, this group seems to have a growing popularity, and even more so after the February 14th show.

The Wild Feathers came on stage and revved up the crowd with songs from past and present albums, such as single “Stand By You,” which was performed live on CBS This Morning. Engaging the crowd like veterans and commanding the stage with enthusiasm, The Wild Feathers is well worth a watch and a download of their music is a must.

Brothers Osborne took to the stage with their newest single, “I Don’t Remember Me (Before You)” and album favorite “Weed, Whiskey, and Willie” to cheering, ready to party fans. Without skipping a beat, pun intended, the pair broke into early tunes like “Rum,” “Greener Pastures” and “Shoot Me Straight.”

The guys never stopped entertaining whether it was mega guitar licks from the ever impressive John, who had a fairly lengthy interlude showing his skills through “It Ain’t My Fault” and hit-maker “Burning Man” (with country singer Dierks Bentley). As much as these guys performed their songs, fans spared no expense in performing right along with them. The audience was just as loud and infectious as the brothers were.

With thunderous applause and cheers from the audience, the group came out for a four song encore with “Pushing Up Daisies” and a goosebump performance of hit “Love The Lonely Out Of You,” pretty apropos for this holiday of love.

Through the banter, guitar solos, outstanding showmanship and a three day stint this weekend that concluded with back-to-back shows at the historic Ryman Auditorium, Brothers Osborne proved to be on the cusp of arena sellouts. With more than an hour worth of singles, album cuts, and a few covers, the brothers are worth every penny.
