The Bellamy Brothers Are Letting Their Love Flow With a New Book and TV Series

“Let your love flow. Like a mountain stream.
And let your love grow with the smallest of dreams. . . .”

We know. It’s in your head now. Your welcome. You may remember that song from the Tom Cruise movie, American Made, from TV shows, or from a number of commercials, including Levi’s Jeans and Barclaycard. Or perhaps you have listened to it on the radio since it came out in 1975. And now, it’s a book title. Sort of. The duo behind the catchy, world-renowned song, The Bellamy Brothers, will be releasing Let Your Love Flow: Life and Times of the Bellamy Brothers on April 17th. The book chronicles the lives of Howard and David Bellamy, born four years apart, to hard working parents on a South Florida ranch that has been in their family since the 1800s. The brothers rose to superstardom and gained an international following after leaving the ranch to move to LA in the 70s. With hits like “If I Said You Had a Beautiful Body”, “Redneck Girl”, and “Sugar Daddy”, the brothers still travel all over the world today sharing their magic and their music. And when they’re not touring, they are herding cattle on the 90 acre family ranch just above Tampa. In fact, their new TV show, “Honky Tonk Ranch” premiered on The Cowboy Channel Sunday, April 8 at 8:30ET/7:30CT. Cameras capture a behind the scenes look at what it’s like to balance recording, making tour schedules, and chasing animals, all the while guiding and inspiring their next generation of aspiring musicians and herders.

And yet, the busy brothers found time to sit down and share fun stories about brotherhood, life on the road, and working cattle with The Country Note. To see the full interview, click here.
