NASHVILLE, TN – Country crooner, Logan Crosby, makes his Country music debut with “If Jesus Was A Cowboy” out everywhere now. Written solely by Crosby, this song highlights his soulful Country roots in a song that pulls you in and keeps you holding on until the last note. The Georgia native sings that if Jesus was a cowboy he’d act the same way if he was going through the heartbreak Crosby describes– If Jesus was a cowboy / He’d have done it too / Took that shot of whiskey… And spent his whole lonesome life / Chasin’ gold, chasin’ whiskey, chasin’ you.

Following a moment of inspiration after watching the hit western series “1883,” Crosby sat down and wrote this song in its entirety in less than 25 minutes. Crosby’s motivation behind this song tapped into a time where he lost the ‘perfect’ girl. That loss and pain made him think Jesus would understand the cowboy way of healing– to pull on your boots and spend every moment chasing her memory.

“If Jesus Was A Cowboy” cuts deep with a stripped-down, simple ballad that makes the listener feel like they’re alone with just Crosby and his piano. Crosby credits his musical influence to his time growing up at his grandmother’s Baptist church and being surrounded by Georgia’s rich history of legendary artists including Ray Charles, Otis Redding and Alan Jackson.

Produced by J Michael Harter and Ilya Toshinsky, “If Jesus Was A Cowboy” marks the first single release for Crosby who’s been performing across the Southeast with the support of his growing following on TikTok. Keep up with Crosby as he makes his transition to Music City on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Youtube, Twitter and website.
