To kick off GRAMMYs weekend, hundreds of people participated in the a 7k “Run to the Red Carpet” fun run on the longest red carpet ever at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, California on Saturday, February 9.

Country music darling Kellie Pickler sounded the foghorn to signal the race start, and cheered on the crowd of avid marathoners, novice runners, dog-walkers and even stroller-pushers as they made progress through the winding 4.3-mile long course, which was entirely covered in red carpet. Following the race, three winners were selected at random to attend a star-studded Grammy’s party in Hollywood.

“Run to the Red Carpet” was hosted by Silk to embody the plant-based beverage brand’s “Progress is Perfection” campaign, which celebrates all the small, healthy choices people make toward their wellness goals.
