Exclusive Video Premiere: Lake & Lyndale’s “Could’ve Loved You”

Ever been in a relationship that no matter how many times you try to justify to yourself its ending, that person still pops in your mind from time to time? Those feelings and the wonder of what could have been that continue to haunt you?  That’s exactly the love and questions that Lake & Lyndale reflect upon in their latest single “Could’ve Loved You” released April 28.  Today, the Country/Americana quartet brings that agonizing story to life through its official music video premiering exclusively with The Country Note.

“Could’ve Loved You” is one of those “cry it out in your car” songs – a story of someone who realizes too soon that they let a good one get away, ” says front woman Channing Marie. “We worked on the video with Ben Boutwell and Zach Manning and were lucky to have Alexa Slaymaker and Chris Moreno as actors in it. This was our first story line video we’ve done and we really just wanted to capture that “what could have been” sentiment, leaving the audience wondering what reality the singer is living in.”

The “what could have been” vs. the “reality” play out through a split-screen as the couple moves through two totally different stories.
