Last month, Daryl Mosley released “In A Country Town,” his third single off his chart-topping debut solo album The Secret of Life. Written by Mosley, the release is an upbeat yet intimate tribute to his hometown of Waverly, brought to life by Mosley’s world-class vocals, joined by IBMA award winning vocalist Jeanette Williams.
“This song is for and about Waverly, Tennessee where I was born and raised and still live. It’s everything a small town should be, firmly rooted in the values and traditions of the past while still looking towards the future. It’s Mayberry and all that that implies. I love this place and was proud I could honor it with a song.”
When the single was announced, Mosley invited fans to be a part of this hometown celebration by submitting photos of their hometowns via his Facebook page for a chance to be featured in the upcoming video. 61 lucky fans will find the images their hometowns in the official music video premiering today exclusively with The Country Note.

“[In A Country Town] is one of my very favorite songs from the album,” says Mosley. “I love that it brings my small town roots front and center but it’s more than just a tribute to where I grew up. “In A Country Town” is an anthem for anyone who has country and rural living in their heart.
