Exclusive Premiere: Analisa Carter “Loved By You”

If you haven’t heard the name Analisa Carter yet, consider this your heads-up.  The self-proclaimed military brat released her debut single “When I Think About You” earlier this year with her unique mix of country and rock representing her love of different genres. Tomorrow, the Georgia-based singer/songwriter is back with her follow-up single Loved By You,” premiering today exclusively with The Country Note.

Accompanied by a sultry with a touch of macabre fiddle, Carter’s vocals stand out as she belts lyrics of a song that is not an ode to one’s love as may be implied by the song’s title, but rather the literal exact opposite – “Your touch brings me so much pain / Burns me up and there’s no rain / It’s driving me insane / I don’t wanna be loved by you / I don’t even wanna be touched by you / What in the hell am I to do when I don’t wanna be loved by you?”

“When love turns away, it walks that thin line of disgust that turns into hatred for that person,” explains Carter. “That’s when you know it’s time to go separate ways.”
