Exclusive First Listen: Kendall Gary’s “Road Trip”

To say Kendall Gary is on a roll is a bit of an understatement as she delivers her fifth single of 2018.  “Road Trip” is the follow-up release to the up-tempo “Barefoot Country Mile” and it’s equally catchy with an infectious beat and sing-along chorus.

Gary’s vocals instantly gets the listener on board as she sets the scene in the first verse: two people on the road making memories in a car with a full tank of gas going from city to city. The fun pace of the chorus enhances the envision driving on an open highway, top down with no real final destination in sight because the destination IS the road trip:

Let’s take a road trip
Roll the windows down
Turn the radio up
Ride around without a care in the world
We’re gonna go so far that we might get lost
But that’s alright as long as I got you by my side

While summer might be more popular for cruising down the interstate, “Road Trip” is the perfect song for those upcoming weekend trips with the cool-autumn breeze flowing through your hair as you head out to who-knows-where.

So back your bags, jump in the car and check out your first listen of “Road Trip” below:
