Roughstock partnered with Cameron for the exclusive world premiere HERE.

The single arrives as a perfect followup. “After you’ve had that late night dance in the living room, ‘Oh Hot Damn!’ is how you end your night.” Cameron explains. “I’m newly single, and I wrote ‘Oh Hot Damn!’ after sparking up a flame with a special guy. When the chemistry you have with someone is undeniable, you have to acknowledge it – with an exclamation mark.”

Cameron has proven to defy genres as an American singer-songwriter. His stunning vocals and songwriting blend elements of Country, Americana, Folk, and Pop/Rock to put him in a league of his own. The emerging crooner first made a buzz with “Dancing In the Living Room,” with accompanying music video garnering nearly 200k views for the independent artist and coverage from the likes of People MagazineHuffington Post, &CMT. With the underlying theme of showing your truest, most vulnerable self, Hawthorn has set out with the desire to deliver listeners the message that ‘love is love’.

Influenced by the likes of Johnny Cash, Elvis, James Taylor and Fleetwood Mac, Hawthorn aims to make music with the same raw narrative – pure and real, classy and classic. Hailing from a small town in Kansas, he attributes his years of growing up in the Midwest to the authentic and honest storytelling found in his music.  With the hope that his upcoming releases will inspire people from all backgrounds to be true to themselves, Cameron Hawthorn is ready for the world to see the next chapter of his musical journey.
