Austin Michael To Release Self-Titled Debut Album

Austin Michael, a 17 year old country music singer who appeared on Season 17 American Idol, had a lot to learn from being on the show, but most importantly to work hard and believe in himself.  As a songwriter, Austin did just that.

He took time to work on writing songs that would later become tracks on his debut self titled album, available now for pre-order.  This 11 track debut, set to release October 9, is filled with a pure country sound, from production with plenty of steel guitar, to romantic its lyrics, like “Feel It Too” and “Love Song” each are both creatively written with an obvious nod to love.  “Still Ain’t Over You” is as close to a country heartache as you can get and Austin’s vocals along with a classic steel lend credence to a shattered heart.

The album isn’t short on more uptempo numbers like “Things My Grandpa Said,” an ode to his grandfather who obviously had a lot of advice to give, with his sweet educational sayings offered to a young Austin.  What made it sweet perfection was the added vocals of an older gentleman, we’ll assume was grandpa, singing the words of advice.  Keeping up with the uptempo tracks is “Country Cred,” an anthem-type tune touting all things that make one country.

Austin Michael has well written songs supported with great production.

Austin Michael is available now for pre-order. All pre-orders receive exclusive access to the highly popular TikTok single ‘Merry Go Round.”

Austin’s debut album release party will be on Friday, 10/15 at Frisco Rail Yard in Frisco, TX. For information, click here.
