Cole Swindell Asks Advice of Tourmate Dierks Bentley in New Single, ‘Flatliner’

Warner Brothers Nashville artist Cole Swindell is no stranger to beautiful women – he sees them every time he ascends the stage or out on a dance floor. And he pays homage to them with his newest single, “Flatliner.”

Out of the gate, it kicks off with a series of beeps and an up-tempo guitar riff that leaves you tapping along.  Cole’s cadence in the song is fittingly paired with the beat drum giving the sure-to-be hit an excellent rhythm. It also exhibits that Cole’s voice has the capacity to give the single the power and liveliness it requires throughout:

Yeah, sippin’ on this seven-seven
Never been this close to heaven
Got the pretty turned up to eleven
Droppin’ them dead on the dance floor

Essentially, “Flatliner” is an affect a beautiful woman has over men – dressed to kill and amazing dance moves has their hearts stopping. As she does her thing out on the dance floor, she is making them see the light and wanting to call a doctor.  And it features Dierks Bentley, who can be heard in the background of the song reassuring Cole. Swindell himself asks, “What would Dierks do”, to which Bentley replies that he would grab his guitar and sing her a song. It’s hard to deny that Cole and Dierks banter adds an enjoyable, comrade touch.

Suffice it to say, you’ll grab those boots and head straight to the dance floor when Swindell’s new single comes blasting through the speakers. And fans may get to listen to “Flatliner” live, as Cole Swindell is currently on Dierks Bently “What the Hell” Tour.  Buy “Flatiner” where all digital media is sold.
