The 2016 CMA Fest kicked off with a concert at the new Ascend Amphitheater on Wednesday, June 8, hosted by Nashville’s Mayor Megan Barry and country artist Chris Young. The concert consisted of Young, who performed a short striped down set including a duet with American Idol alum Tristan McIntosh, Old Dominion, High Valley, Steve Moakler, Clare Dunn and Frankie Ballard as well as Aubrie Sellers, Kalie Shorr, Michael Ray, and William Michael Morgan (not pictured).
