From the time Kimberly Schlapman can remember she always loved cooking and singing. Lately Kimberly took her passion for cooking to a new level with her own cooking show and an “Oh Gussie” collection at Cracker Barrel. Kimberly’s powerhouse vocals, sense of fashion and love of cooking are some of the reasons why Kimberly is this week’s #WCW.
1. Curls. Kimberly, from all the straight haired girls out there, we are envious of your stunning head of locks. From the superb cut to the impeccable tendrils, Kimberly’s hair is absolutely glorious!
2. Simply Southern. Kimberly’s gifts extend beyond her marvelous vocals and into the kitchen. Kimberly has her own show on the Cooking Channel, Simply Southern, where she features home cooked recipes and some of her guests are fellow country artists. You can pick up a copy of Kimberly’s cookbook Oh Gussie! and try out some of her southern recipes.
3. Animal Lover. Kimberly is a woman after our own heart – she’s an animal lover. And she graciously shares her adorable animals on her Instagram page, including her newest addition, a golden retriever.
4. Shoe Game on Point. Kimberly’s assortment of shoes makes us envious of her closet. She has everything from cute converse, fashionable rain boots, to out of these world stilettos. Kimberly, if you are ever looking for someone to pass some shoes onto, think of us!
5. Little Big Town. Kimberly is one of the founding members of the accomplished group, Little Big Town. This four-part harmony group has brought us hits like “Pontoon”, “Girl Crush”, and “Little White Church”. Kimberly is graceful and compelling while performing, we can’t keep our eyes off of her!
