5. He’s a romantic. When coming up with the idea for the video for his newest single “For Her,” Lane decided that he wanted a real life, true love story, not a scripted plot with actors portraying fake love interests. Lane found the perfect Romeo in Brandon, a fan who was planning on proposing to his girlfriend Connie. Their sneaky, intricate plan to trick Connie into thinking she was invited to attend the music video shoot because her friend won a contest was proven successful as the camera captures her shock and surprise when Brandon joins Lane in singing, followed by the proposal.
