Special Features Performances from Dolly’s First Children’s Album, “I Believe In You”
Universal Kids, NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment’s network for kids 2-12, will air a Sprout House special titled “A Day With Dolly” featuring world-renowned singer and entertainer Dolly Parton. Viewers join host Carly and puppet Snug – a lovable puppy – as they spend the day with Dolly singing songs from her first children’s album, “I Believe In You.” Performances by Dolly include “A Friend Like You,” “You Can Do It,” and “Together Forever.”
Sprout House broadcasts from the iconic 30 Rock studios in New York City. This musically-infused interactive playdate airs from 9am-12pm Monday-Friday on Universal Kids. Viewers join Carly and Snug as they sing songs, play games, craft, explore the world around them, and of course, celebrate birthdays, along with their neighbor TJ, a video-journalist and documentarian.
“A Day With Dolly” will premiere on Universal Kids on Tuesday, December 12 at 11:05am/10:05am central. The special will re-air on Wednesday, December 13 at 9:55am/10:55am central and Thursday, December 14 at 9:55am/10:55am central. The special will also be available on the Sprout YouTube channel beginning Thursday, December 14.
