Beathard Will Debut His Homegrown Style of Country Music on The Grand Ole Opry Tonight (11/8) at The Ryman

NASHVILLE, TN – Breakout singer/songwriter TUCKER BEATHARD’s fearless new single, “Momma And Jesus,” hits airwaves yesterday as one of the most added songs in the format. Critics have been quick to applaud the track that “illustrates why Music Row is so excited about Tucker Beathard. It’s an honest bad boy anthem… [that] sonically separates itself from others with a goading guitar lick,” (Taste Of Country) while RARE Country praises “as with all of the music that has come out of Tucker thus far, it perfectly tells his truth.” Beathard’s mother Susan is giving fans insight into the rebellious antics that inspired the single in a series of unruly videos available to watch here.

“I fought really hard to make this my next single because it’s all me. As fans are just getting to know me, I thought it was important to stick to my guns and fight for the songs that best represent me,” said Beathard. “I definitely got into some trouble when I was growing up…if you ask me, it was all pretty harmless.  My mom might say differently, but we made it through!”

Making waves with his unique, homegrown style of Country music, Beathard will take the Ryman Auditorium stage tonight (11/8) to make his Grand Ole Opry debut. Armed with an unyielding determination that stems from growing up with a hit songwriter father and as part of a long line of athletes, Beathard will perform tracks taken from his recently released FIGHT LIKE HELL EP. Songs on the EP include his new single as well as his debut Top 5 single and summer anthem, “Rock On.”

A born road warrior, Beathard continues to further his “meteoric rise” (MSN/Wonderwall) out on the road with his ROCK ON COLLEGE TOUR. Joined by special guest Aubrie Sellers, this weekend wraps in Oxford, OH (11/9), Ann Arbor, MI (11/10), Columbus, OH (11/11) and Iowa City, IA (11/12) where his brother CJ plays quarterback for the Hawkeyes. Beathard will also return to Europe for the second time this year for headlining dates beginning in Dublin, IE on 12/3. For a full list of tour dates and more information visit TuckerBeathard.com.
