Wakefield Secures Opening Slot in Du Quoin and Naperville, Illinois
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – “The Voice” season 10 runner-up Adam Wakefield will join Jamey Johnson for two shows this Labor Day Weekend, opening for Johnson at the Du Quoin State Fair and Naperville’s Last Fling 2016 – both in Illinois.
The Du Quoin State Fair begins August 26 and runs through September 5. Wakefield will take the Grandstand stateFriday, Sept. 2 at 7:30 p.m. CST, prior to Johnson’s set. Naperville’s Last Fling 2016 takes place September 2-5, with Wakefield performing Labor Day Monday, September 5, at 4:30 p.m. CST on the Main Stage. Last Fling 2016 is located at 440 W.
