Summerfest Announces the Ground Stage Lineup for the 50th Edition with ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!

MILWAUKEE – Summerfest presented by American Family Insurance is excited to announce over 100 headlining acts that will perform at Summerfest’s 50thedition.  The full lineup for the festival can be viewed online at abc.go.com and Summerfest.com.  ABC’s  Jimmy Kimmel Live! featured a performance by major ground stage headliner, The Shins on Tuesday evening’s broadcast. Additionally, Jimmy Kimmel Live and Summerfest have plans to bring live performances from the festival to viewers across the globe on via multiple online platforms. Through the proposed collaboration with the festival, the late night franchise will have exclusive access to festival performances and plan to make them available to audiences worldwide, free of charge.

“Music is in the DNA of Jimmy Kimmel Live and the show has a passion for bringing great, one of a kind content to our fans,” said co-executive producer Doug Deluca. “Jumping in with SummerFest to launch such a big initiative makes complete sense, they are the country’s largest music festival.”

Ticket prices for Summerfest’s 50th are among the most affordable for any major festival in the world, only $20 for general admission and $13 for weekday tickets (valid prior to 4:00 pm). The value continues with multi-day and commemorative options, all of which can be purchased now at Summerfest.com with no incremental service fees:

  • The 2017 Summerfest 50th Commemorative 1-Day Ticket, a limited edition red and gold holographic foil ticket, is available in limited quantities for $25.
  • The Summerfest 50th Commemorative Power Pass, a limited edition pass with a 3D effect and Summerfest lanyard, is available in limited quantities for $100.
  • The 3-Day Pass is available for $48 and is valid for one general admission per day on three different days of the festival ($60 value).
  • The 11-Day Power Pass is available for $90 ($220 value).
