Nashville Palace Residency a Big Hit for Tim Rushlow and His Big Band

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Tim Rushlow & His Big Band: Swingin’ at the Palace!” opened a 20-night residency at the historic Nashville Palace this past weekend with rave reviews as they created an authentic supper club entertainment experience, complete with a red carpet for guests who were greeted by a maître d’ in a tuxedo, escorted to a candlelit, romantic setting with linen tablecloths and served a delicious dinner from an exclusive menu while sipping on their favorite libation from the “Frank Sinatra” whiskey and bourbon bar or “Rat Pack Martini Bar.” Tickets for all dates are available NOW.

“I am blown away by the response to our kick off weekend at The Nashville Palace!” says Tim Rushlow, adding, “The venue has truly been transformed to capture the vibe of the Copa Room circa 1965 at The Sands in Las Vegas. I cannot wait for the rest of Nashville and out-of-town visitors to get a glimpse at this show with me and my Big Band there performing these amazing songs from the Great American Songbook!”

Guests immensely enjoyed entertainment from the classics by Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darin and Dean Martin, as well as fan favorites from Elvis, Buddy Holly and others.

“Tim’s residency at the Nashville Palace is setting a new benchmark for live entertainment options in Music City,” states show co-producer, Clif Doyal. “This kind of supper club concert has not been presented in Nashville in the modern era, and the timing is perfect to add this unique entertainment experience to the city’s vibrant music scene.”

The residency will conclude with the Christmas extravaganza, “Home for the Holidays,” with the second segment kicking off in December and concluding with a special show on New Year’s Eve.

In support of his residency, Tim is currently hosting a weekly one-hour radio show presented by WSM 650 AM which focuses on Big Band music and its historical impact on American culture, as well as its influence on Country artists from Bob Wills to Ray Price to Marty Robbins and many others. The show airs on Saturdays at 3:00 AM CST and Sundays at 3:00 PM CST.  PBS is currently airing ‘Tim Rushlow & His Big Band – LIVE,’ an hour-long concert television special nationally through June 2018.
