Riser House Records artist Mitchell Tenpenny kicks off a tour with stops in Southeast college markets Tuscaloosa (AL), Birmingham (AL), Auburn (AL), Decatur (GA) and others this Fri., Sept. 1. Additionally, the Billboard Top 10 Country songwriter will open a handful of dates for Granger Smith in the Midwest and Jake Owen in the Northeast.
Tenpenny’s set features a mix of “soul, Southern rock rasp, country, pop and blues” (CMT) and even includes his own version of Granger Smith’s “If the Boot Fits,” which the 28-year-old co-wrote.
The Nashville native recently dropped an EP titled ‘Linden Ave’ (7.14). Various tracks from the six-song collection can be heard in rotation on SiriusXM’s “The Highway” and the “New Boots,” “Wild Country,” and “Drunk and Hungover” Spotify playlist.
