The songs that are new for HERO Deluxe, “Bummin’ Cigarettes,” “Space” and “Company You Keep,” all co-written by Morris, will be familiar to fans who have attended Morris’ SOLD OUT headlining HERO Tour 2017 as Morris has performed all three songs each night from the stage.
Announced earlier this week, Morris was named as the winner of the NEW FEMALE ARTIST OF THE YEAR category for the upcoming 52ND ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS.
In addition to the early win, Morris is also nominated for FIVE more awards for the 52nd Academy of Country Music Awards including FEMALE VOCALIST OF THE YEAR, ALBUM OF THE YEAR (as artist and producer) for HERO, andSINGLE RECORD OF THE YEAR (as artist and producer) for “My Church.”
Morris was also announced as a performer on the 52nd Academy of Country Music Awards live from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas Sunday, April 2 (live 8:00-11:00 PM, ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network.
